Job Description:

We are  seeking a programmer to help support our growing number of schools. Our software
is a broad, integrated database system which requires hands-on, personal support, which is
provided in part by Support Engineers. Support Engineers are teamed up with Account
Managers to own and manage the projects and maintenance for a slice of our clients. Support
Engineers are experts on the inner workings of their schools, helping to ensure they run
smoothly and successfully. We firmly believe in on-the-job training, so we are more interested in
your ability to learn and become an expert than in you already being an expert.
What You Will Be Doing
• Writing and maintaining code (SQL, Ruby, HTML, CSS, Javascript) in support of your school
and their projects
• Implementing new schools in  our software
• Solving hard and interesting problems
Job Requirements
• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or 2+ years of programming experience
• Proficiency in at least one programming language
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to communicate
technical details to people with a varying range of technical ability
• A service- and team-oriented mindset
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Enthusiasm about programming and related technology
Bonus Points
• Experience with Ruby, Python or similar
• Experience with web programming
• Web and/or UI design skills
