About the Opportunity: A leading commodities trading firm is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and is comfortable supporting complex AP processes in a global business setting. Key Responsibilities: Accurately process high-volume invoices related to commodities purchases, freight, and logistics Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner Ensure proper coding of invoices in accordance with company policies and chart of accounts Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs (ACH, wire transfers, checks) Liaise with internal trading, operations, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely payments Assist with month-end close by reconciling AP sub-ledger to the general ledger Maintain accurate vendor files and support 1099 reporting Assist with internal and external audits and provide necessary documentation Contribute to AP process improvement and system optimization initiatives Qualifications: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2 years of Accounts Payable experience, ideally within a commodities, trading, or logistics environment Familiarity with commodity-related cost structures (freight, storage, handling) is a plus Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite Strong organizational and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines INJUN2025
