Job Description:
Partner Services Group (PSG) Senior Manager (The Boston
Consulting Group, Inc.- Boston, Massachusetts): Independently own
and drive initiatives, policies, and processes related to Managing
Directors and Partners (MDP) performance recognition and
assessment. Specific duties include: supporting initiatives and
processes that directly engage with the most senior leaders at BCG,
including the CEO, Executive Committee (EC), the Operating
Committee (OC), the Partner Performance Committee (PPC) and the
Managing Director Partner Management Team (MDPMT); implementing
change efforts to leadership programs and the annual evaluation
process, and dive deeper into key questions and clearly explain the
logic and outcomes to senior leaders; advising managers on
organizational policy matters, and recommending needed changes;
coordinating the annual evaluation process; orchestrating changes
to fellow evaluation and incorporating leadership goals and
objectives into the evaluation process; supporting growing
recruitment, on-boarding and integration of laterals; and
collaboratively engaging with stakeholders across the organization,
from the leaders in the executive suite, to functional leaders
across the globe, to managers and coordinators that will be
implementing elements of change. Requires a Bachelors degree in
Finance, Business Administration, Operations Research, Management
or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent,
including a 3-year foreign degree) plus seven (7) years of
experience acting as a change agent in a leadership role delivering
effective talent strategies and solutions. Specific skills/other
requirements (quantitative experience requirements not applicable
to this section) - must possess the following: (i) analyzing
financial and business models for a blue-chip multinational
company; (ii) delivering effective talent strategies and solutions
around staffing, compensation, talent management, training,
engagement, performance management, and employee relations
throughout the employee lifecycle across levels in global
locations; (iii) partnering with businesses leaders to design and
craft internal policies spanning human resources, performance
management, mobility, and financial performance measurement; (iv)
working in a highly matrixed organization across diverse cultures
to engage and mobilize leadership around policies and processes;
(v) utilizing change management methodologies and leading
organizational change; (vi) working with cross-functional
specialist teams and managing professionals and subject matter
experts in the field of Human Resources, Finance and Analytics;
(vii) managing large amounts of confidential information and
establishing access protocols; and (viii) utilizing HRIS and
Finance platforms and contributing to design and implementation
stage for new platforms. Up to 20% domestic and international
travel required. M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 45+ hours per week.
