EXETER JOB CORPS is looking for a patient, caring licensed
educator to teach high school level math to our students, age 16-24
at our beautiful campus right next to the Veterans' Memorial
Cemetery in Exeter. SALARY: $55k annually / $250 quarterly

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in
the following areas: Patient Care Technician, Welding, Advanced

CERTIFICATION ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY The Math Teacher is
responsible for providing basic math instruction and training to
students in the Career Education Center. This individual will
develop individual achievement plans and academic goals to ensure
student academic achievement in the program. Works with the Career
Technical Training (CTT) Instructors to infuse applied academics
into CTT curricula to enhance student learning and success.
Responsibilities: Teaching: Plan, prepare, and deliver effective
lessons that align with the curriculum and educational goals.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that
encourages student participation and engagement. Utilize various
instructional methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning
styles. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the education team
to develop and update curriculum materials that meet industry
standards and educational requirements. Integrate real-world
examples and practical applications into lesson plans to enhance
relevance and student understanding. Assessment and Evaluation:
Implement regular assessments to gauge student progress and adjust
instructional strategies accordingly. Provide constructive feedback
to students on their academic performance and offer guidance for
improvement. Student Support: Offer additional support to students
who may require extra assistance in grasping academic concepts.
Collaborate with other instructors and support staff to address
individual student needs and challenges. Professional Development:
Stay informed about current educational trends, teaching
methodologies, and industry-specific developments. Participate in
professional development activities and training to enhance

staff Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree
from an accredited school required, Master’s degree preferred Valid
RI teaching certificate required Previous teaching or Job Corps
experience strongly preferred Physical requirements include

pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching “Adams and
