minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. Seeking a Special Education Teacher for an elementary
school setting specializing in self-contained classrooms with a
focus on students with intellectual disabilities. This contract
position is based in Providence, RI, for the current school year
(CSY) and offers a fulfilling opportunity to support diverse
learner needs. Key Responsibilities: Manage a self-contained
elementary caseload, providing tailored instruction and support.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for
students with intellectual disabilities. Collaborate with
educational staff and families to promote student growth and
inclusion. Utilize specialized teaching strategies to meet
individual learning goals. Track and report on student progress and
adjust teaching methods accordingly. Qualifications and Experience:
Valid special education teaching certification. Experience working
with elementary students, preferably in self-contained settings.
Skilled in working with students with intellectual disabilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to
individualized and inclusive education. Location: Providence, Rhode
