services to state departments of transportation, federal agencies,
local and municipal governments. They are a well-established and
stable firm with expertise in structural, civil, highway,
municipal, environmental, and geotechnical engineering. Our
client's Transportation Practice is currently seeking a Bridge
Engineer to work in their CT office This is an exciting time to
join their family-oriented and stable team. They were recently
assigned two (2) four-year assignments throughout the state of
Connecticut for Connecticut DOT and throughout NYC and Long Island
for New York State DOT. Job Description Perform engineering design
tasks for bridge projects from preliminary to final design Develop
specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
Provide engineering design services for traditional
design-bid-build projects Mentor and assist junior-level engineers
in developing final design plans Participate in project decisions
regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling performance
Identify schedule/cost variances; develop and implement
recommendations for corrective action Participate in project by
completing tasks within schedule and budget with teams comprised of
different disciplines Very little travel Bachelor Degree from
Accredited Engineering Institution EIT Min of (3) three to (5) five
years bridge design experience possessing a broad knowledge and
experience in bridge design, strong technical skills Full and
in-depth familiarity with AutoCAD Bridge Inspection Experience a
