excited to apply their skills to product testing, troubleshooting,
and technical support as part of our engineering team. The
Electrical Test Technician is an integral member of the G&G
engineering team. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this team
member executes hands on electrical, mechanical, thermal, and
chemical testing. As part of a small, tight knit team, you will see
the full product life cycle from new product testing to long term
field reliability. This role calls for a strong excellent technical
troubleshooting skills, a passion for hands on problem solving, and
customer service orientation. Recently recognized as the fastest

controls. G&G locally manufactures purpose-built products for
the car wash, food processing, mass transit, and industrial
markets. Who will I report to? VP of Engineering Salary:
$60,000-$80,000/year Location: In-person - Ballston Spa, NY What am
I accountable for? 1. Product Testing (40%) Collaborate with
engineering to develop and execute test plans for new and existing
products (electrical, mechanical, thermal, and chemical testing).
Document test results by recording data and generating clear
reports. Communicate insights and feedback from testing to improve
the design process. 2. Failure Analysis & Reliability (25%) Lead
the internal field return analysis process, including teardown,
root cause determination, and documentation of findings. Maintain
accurate records of product returns and communicate trends and
critical issues to engineering. Support occasional customer site
visits to audit field reliability and assist with complex
troubleshooting. 3. Technical Customer and Product Support (25%)
Serve as one of the first points of contact for inbound technical
support as a part time basis by phone and email, performing basic
troubleshooting and escalating complex issues to the Lead Product
Engineer. Manage the warranty and returns (RMA) process by entering
claims, coordinating hardware returns, and providing timely status
updates. Configure control systems to meet the needs of customers.
Coordinate with the Product Support Specialist to ensure coverage
during peak periods. 4. Lab and Equipment Management (10%) Maintain
engineering lab facilities and ensure all test equipment is in good
working order with appropriate calibrations. Assist in planning
test schedules based on project priorities and equipment
availability. Continuously improve engineering lab spaces to be
efficient, organized, and safe. Key Measurables Product teardown
backlog. On time completion of validation plans and clear reporting
of results. Percentage of assigned tasks or projects completed on
schedule. Support ticket first response time How do we show up

succeed? Must align with our Core Values Hands on electrical or
technical experience such as electrical trades, product testing,
validation, or technical support OR an associate's degree in
engineering, engineering technology, or a related technical field.
Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts. Customer
focused mindset with excellent written and verbal communication
skills. Proven hands on experience with strong knowledge of
electrical and mechanical concepts. Ability to thrive in a fast
paced, hands on environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. A

projects to completion without constant oversight.
