Electronics Systems (UES) Department in Portsmouth, RI is seeking a
3rd shift Test Engineer with technical experience in engineering
products and experience supporting test, evaluation, and production
operations. The desired candidate is highly technical and able to
work with minimal oversight as well as mentor junior engineers.
This position requires the ability to support 3 rd Shift work
schedule. What You Will Do: Demonstrate technical experience in the
areas of Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, or Power products . Work to
program plans and schedules, identify technical problems in
sufficient time for corrective action to be taken, and ensure the
delivery of products that meet performance requirements. C lose
management of test completion while simultaneously balancing
resulting performance with the ability to meet the customer ’ s
critical schedule requirements. Support r egular review s of
program status including tracking and review by both Engineering
and Program Leadership. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of hardware
engineering capabilities to ensure successful technical execution.
Time manag ement of varied and complex tasks across competing
priorities. Some travel to integration sites, plus customer and
subcontractor facilities, may be required . Qualifications You Must
Have: Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology,
Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or a minimum of 5 years’
prior relevant experience, to include any combination of the
following: Technical design experience in the areas of Analog,
Digital, Mixed Signal, or Power products . Experience in Root-Cause
Corrective Action investigations Experience mentoring junior
engineers. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience working Naval
Programs in the subject areas of acoustics, torpedoes, mine
warfare, submarines, and/or Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUVs).
Relevant professional experience participating on cross-functional
teams. Advanced degree in Engineering discipline. Active Top Secret
security clearance. Proven ability to lead technical discussions to
closure. Experience participating in production and test
activities. PMX Level 7 Certified or better. IPDS knowledge and
experience. Raytheon Technologies process improvement ie CORE/ Six
Sigma Certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
both verbal and written. Collaborate in teams or independently,
flexible, demonstrates initiative. Experience in agile hardware

role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
