Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Safety Management System Culture Lead
for the Enterprise Safety Management System (SMS) Program Office in
East Hartford, CT, to lead the enterprise-wide Product Safety
Ambassador program, develop and deploy annual Safety Management
System (SMS) training and communications strategies, execute the
annual product safety culture survey, and lead other initiatives
aimed at advancing P&W's Positive Safety Culture. What You Will
Do: Lead and mature Product Safety Ambassador Program, consisting
of cross-functional safety liaisons focused on improving safety
culture and processes within their local organizations. Develop and
lead Pratt & Whitney's (PW) annual enterprise-wide SMS Training and
Promotion strategy. Develop communications and training materials
for broad deployment across P&W. Lead initiatives with
stakeholders in Communications, Human Resources, Ethics and
Compliance, and other functional areas to develop and execute
strategies for driving continuous improvement of Pratt & Whitney’s
safety culture. Lead initiatives with SMS Steering Group members to
develop targeted training and communication strategies on Product
Safety and SMS principles. Work closely with Human Resources and
the RTX team to execute a global annual safety culture survey to
gauge the effectiveness of P&W’s promotion and training
strategy. Create metrics and trend data to articulate process and
cultural health and to SMS leadership. Qualifications You Must
Have: A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Education,
Organizational Psychology, or related field and 10 years of
experience in the Aerospace industry, or an Advanced degree in a
related field and 7 years of experience in the Aerospace industry.
Qualifications We Prefer: Strong understanding of SMS principles
and ability to communicate these principles to broad audiences.
Demonstrated skill in leading cross-functional teams, excellent
communication skills, and experience articulating vision and
strategy at the senior leadership level. Familiarity with
Engineering, Quality, and Operations organizations and/or
processes. Background in creating promotional and training
material. Experience in using CORE tools for continuous process

This role is: This role is: Onsite : Employees who are working in
Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all
production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the
development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role
type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For
onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is
the employee’s personal responsibility. As part of our commitment

as on-site, hybrid or remote. The salary range for this role is
132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good
faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
