Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Albany, NY Agency: AMN Healthcare Pay: $2,315 to $2,459 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Description & Requirements Registered Nurse – Intensive Care - ICU - Travel - (ICU RN) StartDate: 2/16/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $2315.00 - $2459.00 Patient Population: The patient population consists of male and female adult patients experiencing actual or potential life-threatening cardiac dysfunction which may include cardiac dysrhythmias, active MI's, cardiac arrest, CHF, cardiomyopathy, and cardiogenic shock. Number of Beds: 17 bed cardiac critical care unit Unit staffing description-11 beds are 1:2 RN: patient ratio, 6 less acute beds are 1:3 Type of equipment: cardiac devices including TVPs, IABPs, Impellas (right and left ventricular assist devices), PA/Swan catheters. Other ICU equipment including ventilators and telemetry monitoring Documentation system: EPIC Floating policy: to areas with competency - AMC has an internal float team that assists with staffing. Patient Experience requirements: 2 years of cardiac ICU Required Qualifications Registered Nurse, ICU Licenses: RN-NY Certifications: ACLS(Copy needed); BLS(Copy needed) SSN Required DOB Required References: 1 Reference in entire work history 1. NY license (/exp). Can submit without an active NY RN. Must have a US SSN to submit. 2. 1.5 years of 600 bed academic hospital experience or 2 years of total (traveling perm) experience 3. Trauma level 1 is required. Trauma levels MUST be included on applicants resume and be accurate 4. EPIC Experience 5. Professional references must be recent - no more than 1 year old 6.
