Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system known for its

high-quality patient care, is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse
III for our Med/Surg Float Pool. This position offers a unique
opportunity to work across multiple medical and surgical units,
providing essential support while gaining diverse experience. The
ideal candidate will adapt quickly to different clinical settings
and effectively manage varying patient care needs. Provide
comprehensive nursing care to patients in multiple med/surg units
based on assignment. Assess patient conditions and administer
appropriate medical interventions. Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate continuity of
patient care. Engage in patient and family education regarding
treatments and home care procedures. Maintain a high level of
professional expertise and comply with all departmental policies
regarding patient confidentiality and treatment. Float between
units as needed to ensure optimal patient care and operational
continuity. Strong clinical skills in a variety of medical and
surgical settings Excellent decision-making and problem-solving
skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to
work independently and as part of a team Competence in electronic
health record (EHR) software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of employment Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
preferred
