Job Description:
Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Registered Nurse to join our Center for Learning and Development as
an RN Education Specialist. In this role, you will be instrumental
in developing and implementing educational programs and clinical
training to enhance the skills and knowledge of our clinical staff.
You will work closely with clinical leaders and healthcare
professionals to assess learning needs, develop innovative
educational strategies, and promote best practices in patient care.
Assess educational needs and learning gaps in partnership with
clinical leaders. Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical
training programs and curriculum. Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of evidence-based
practices into clinical processes. Provide mentoring and coaching
to staff to facilitate continuous professional development. Utilize
advanced technologies and simulation methodologies to enhance
learning experiences. Maintain records of educational activities
and evaluate program effectiveness. Stay abreast of the latest
developments in clinical education and healthcare trends. Strong
leadership and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written
communication skills Proficiency in educational technology and
e-learning platforms Ability to analyze and integrate clinical data
for educational content Expertise in developing and leading
training sessions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification
