Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system, is seeking a
dedicated Clinical Nurse II for our General Medicine/Surgery
(Med/Surg) department. This role involves providing top-tier

their families. Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in
the general medical and surgical units. Assist with surgeries and
monitor patients' postoperative recovery. Administer medications
and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and
health maintenance. Ensure adherence to hospital policies and
health regulations. Participate in continuous education to keep
up-to-date with medical procedures and advancements. Proficient in
clinical skills related to general medicine and surgery. Ability to
manage multiple patient needs efficiently. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Crisis management abilities and quick
decision-making. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
