Must-Have: - Telemetry exam on arrival - Epic charting experience -
Charge experience preferred Description: Seeking a
Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN for a float pool. This position will
manage an increase in patient census. Applicants should have a
medical-surgical telemetry background. Experience in critical care
or progressive care is highly valuable. There will be potential to
float to medical-surgical units. Telemetry skills are essential,
including rhythm interpretation. The exam is closed book,
proctored, and time-limited. Patient diagnoses include cardiac and
respiratory conditions. The unit cares for patients post-STEMI
catheterization and stroke. Average daily census is approximately
30 patients. Daily visits are around 10. Staffing ratios are 1:5.
Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as
pharmacy and physical therapy. Special procedures include
post-dialysis care. Travelers are accepted based on qualifications.
References are required. A valid state license is necessary.
Compliance with background and drug screening is mandatory.
