Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading provider of comprehensive

Registered Nurse for our Float Pool. This position is vital in
maintaining high standards of care and ensures consistent nursing
services across various departments. As a Clinical Nurse II, you
will leverage your extensive clinical skills to support multiple
specialty areas according to operational needs, providing a
seamless patient experience. This role demands a high degree of
flexibility, exceptional clinical competence, and the ability to
work effectively in fast-paced environments. Provide direct patient
care to a diverse patient population across differing units,
adjusting to the operational needs. Assess, plan, implement, and
evaluate nursing care needs for patients in a timely and respectful
manner. Coordinate with healthcare team members to facilitate
integrated and comprehensive care. Participate in peer reviews,
clinical education, and professional development sessions to
enhance nursing practices and patient outcomes. Document all
patient care services and interactions maintaining clear and
comprehensive patient records. Ensure adherence to hospital
policies and procedures, enhancing safety and quality standards.
Strong clinical skills with the ability to work efficiently in
different hospital units Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Ability to manage time effectively and make quick decisions
in high-pressure situations Proficiency in using medical software
and patient management systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
