Nurse Practitioner | Administration Location: New Hampshire, NH Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Join Our Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner – General Medicine in NH Are you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a passion for serving Veterans and making a meaningful difference? We are seeking experienced General Medicine Providers to perform essential Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across New Hampshire. This flexible, project-based role offers the opportunity to contribute to vital veteran services while enjoying competitive compensation and professional support. In this pivotal role, you will conduct interview-based assessments, including physical evaluations such as range of motion and muscle strength testing, without the need for prescribing or treatment. The position allows for flexible scheduling—whether half-day or full-day shifts—tailored to your availability, with the possibility to work on a PRN basis on an ongoing basis. You will utilize your clinical expertise to assist Veterans, ensuring they receive the recognition and support they deserve. Required Skills and Qualifications: Valid Nurse Practitioner license in New Hampshire Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine Experience with compensation and pension exams preferred Strong interpersonal and assessment skills Ability to perform interviews and basic physical assessments efficiently Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience with government or veteran-related assessments Familiarity with physical assessment tools and procedures Additional certifications related to occupational health or clinical assessment Preferred Education and Experience: Master's Degree or higher in Nursing (ARNP or equivalent) At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine or related fields Previous experience performing compensation and pension examinations is advantageous Other Requirements: Own office location within a 50-mile radius of designated NH sites (Lincoln, Lebanon) Willingness to work ½ days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) Certified medical practitioner with the ability to attend credentialing and onboarding quickly Local candidates preferred; travel costs included in rates Ability to complete administrative follow-ups such as report writing and addendums This is a rewarding opportunity to serve our nation's veterans while enjoying a flexible work schedule, competitive rates at $402/hour, and comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, health coverage, paid sick time, and referral bonuses.
