Salary & Benefits: $3500 Sign-On Bonus for New Hires! (paid in 2 installments at 3 months and 6 months with successful completion of Orientation) $1500 Referral Bonus for Current Staff! $20.40 an hour or $21.42 with MAP Certification Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage. Paid vacation, holidays and sick time. 401k with employer matching, supervision, training, advancement opportunities and many more Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday-6am-9am (15 hours) Essential Job Functions: Actively Advocate for individuals served demonstrating the Agency’s values and mission in all interactions Leveraging your knowledge and interests in the community to empower individuals and enhance their quality of life Implement Individual Service Plans Assist individuals with Activities of Daily living, including household tasks and chores Assist individuals with appointments, including driving the Agency’s van Present in a respectful and professional manner in all interaction Attend all trainings and implement knowledge throughout your work Communicate in an effective manner whether orally or written Qualifications: Highschool diploma or GED Active and valid driver’s license Ability to pass background checks Ability to lift to 50lbs and sustained periods of sitting or standing Ability to assist in a restraint if needed Experience in substance abuse or mental health preferred The Arc is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in its selection and employment practices.
