A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individual nursing services for a student with complex medical needs in a school setting located in Salem, NH. This role requires critical care skills and offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The nurse will also accompany the student during transportation between home and school, ensuring consistent and comprehensive care throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities: - Provide individualized nursing care to a student with complex medical needs - Monitor the students health status and respond effectively to any changes - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols - Accompany student on transportation to and from school to maintain continuous care - Collaborate with school staff, healthcare providers, and family to coordinate care plans - Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of nursing services rendered Qualifications: - Current and valid RN license appropriate for school nursing - Demonstrated experience with critical care nursing and managing complex medical conditions - Ability to work independently and respond appropriately to emergencies - Strong communication skills for collaboration with the school team and family - Commitment to student health and wellbeing within the educational environment Location: Salem, NH Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 3:00 PM Contract type: Contract position This position is available immediately, and prompt availability is preferred.
