Job Description:
This opportunity is for a Mammography Technologist working
rotating day and evening shifts with a combination of 8-hour and
occasional 12-hour schedules. The primary shift includes working
every other Saturday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, along with
additional weekday shifts depending on departmental needs.
Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and open to a mixed
shift structure. The role involves performing diagnostic and
screening mammography procedures using Hologic mammography
equipment while utilizing EPIC for electronic medical records and
Visage for imaging systems. The technologist will be responsible
for producing high-quality diagnostic images, maintaining patient
safety and comfort, and following proper imaging protocols and
radiation safety standards. This position requires adaptability in
a fast-paced imaging environment and the ability to collaborate
with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure accurate imaging
results and efficient patient workflow. Requirements: Candidates
must hold a valid ARRT (M) certification and possess at least one
year of mammography experience. Recent EPIC experience within the
past two years is required and considered non-negotiable for
submission. A current BLS certification is also required and must
be verified along with ARRT credentials prior to onboarding.
Applicants must provide a complete and accurate work history
including details such as facility type, bed count, and electronic
medical record systems used at previous positions. Any employment
gaps longer than 90 days must be clearly explained during the
submission process. Candidates should also be prepared to adapt to
rotating schedules and weekend shifts. Reliable personal
transportation is required due to limited accessibility of public
transportation in the area, and travel readiness is expected for
individuals commuting from outside the immediate region.
