Job Description:

A health services network in Connecticut is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Thoracic Surgery team in Fairfield County. About the Opportunity:

Schedule: 3-4 days per week
Hours: 10-hour shifts
Setting: OR, inpatient, outpatient

Responsibilities:

First assist in the OR
Inpatient rounding, admissions, and discharges
Outpatient clinic visits
Multi-site collaboration with the Thoracic Surgery team
Travel between multiple hospital sites

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
CT Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
BLS certification
Experience in Thoracic Surgery
Robotic Surgery expertise
Comfortable in an Operating Room, Inpatient, and/or Outpatient settings
Strong communication skills

Desired Skills:

Advanced degree in a related field
Robotic surgery certifications
Experience as a First Assistant in Thoracic Surgeries
