Job Description Job Description No. of Positions: 2 Shift: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM Schedule 1: Friday to Tuesday (40 hours/week) Schedule 2: Sunday to Thursday (40 hours/week) Location: Lowell, MA Contract: 13 Weeks Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Recovery Specialist to join our healthcare team, committed to supporting patients through their recovery journey within inpatient settings. This is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction. This vital role involves coordinating comprehensive care plans, managing behavioral health interventions, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment for individuals undergoing treatment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, crisis intervention expertise, and experience in social work or behavioral health to facilitate effective recovery processes. Responsibilities Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities. Observe and supervise clients and unit; conducts 30-minute client well-being checks. Conduct telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties. Search client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor. Complete all necessary checklists, shift documentation, and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Minimum Qualification High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Experience working with substances use population is preferred. Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred.
