We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Engineer to help us build and enhance our mobile apps while working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation.

Job Overview:
We're looking for a talented Senior Android Engineer with significant expertise in Java and Kotlin. In addition to your Android skills, experience in iOS development (especially Swift) will be a huge advantage, as you'll collaborate across teams to ensure our mobile apps provide a seamless experience for both iOS and Android users. You will also have a strong background in building subscription-based mobile apps and a passion for delivering high-quality mobile experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of high-quality Android applications.
• Collaborate closely with iOS and backend teams to deliver seamless, cross-platform experiences.
• Build and optimize subscription-based features, driving user acquisition and retention.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in Java and Kotlin for Android.
• Apply best practices in Swift to support the iOS development team.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of mobile apps.
• Review code and mentor junior engineers to promote a culture of best practices and continuous learning.
  Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in Android development with a focus on Java and Kotlin.
  • Proven experience with subscription-based mobile apps (e.g., in-app purchases, recurring billing).
  • Strong knowledge of Android development tools, including Android Studio and Gradle.
  • Experience with Swift and familiarity with iOS development, enabling cross-platform collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with backend APIs, RESTful services, and integration of mobile applications with web services.
  • A strong desire to create high-quality, user-focused mobile experiences.
    Nice to Have:
    • Experience with React Native or other cross-platform frameworks.
    • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
    • Previous experience working with a consumer-facing product or in the subscription space.
