Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a renowned leader in the security industry, is seeking a dedicated SOC Operator for part-time overnight shifts on Fridays and Saturdays. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' properties by monitoring and responding to security and safety threats through state-of-the-art surveillance and communication systems. Join us in our mission to protect homes, workplaces, and communities by leveraging your skills in a high-tech security operations center (SOC). Monitor multiple security cameras and alarm systems to detect unauthorized entry or potential security threats Operate and maintain radio communications with patrol officers and emergency responders Record and report all incidents and anomalies in a detailed logbook Analyze video surveillance footage and escalate situations according to established protocols Initiate emergency responses and provide real-time information to law enforcement and emergency services when necessary Ensure operational functionality of all SOC equipment, performing regular checks and notifying technical support for maintenance Collaborate with security team members to enhance security protocols and responses Proficiency in surveillance systems and emergency communication technologies Strong attention to detail and observational skills Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic understanding of IT and network systems Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification is highly desirable First aid and CPR certifications are recommended
