Job Description:
Job Description Program/Project: The OAG is seeking a Business
Analyst to conduct professional grade requirements through industry
standard requirements gathering sessions and associated tools.
Day-to-Day: • Working closely with program staff, vendors, and
other stakeholders to define requirements. • Eliciting, analyzing,
communicating, and validating requirements. • Analyzing high-level
design recommendations. • Analyzing and researching impacts to
other agency systems. • Working on complex software in a
fast-paced, high volume work environment. • Utilizing effective
communication and facilitation skills to reach consensus among
stakeholders. • Delivering oral and written communications to
business owners, IT program team members and management. • Logging,
analyzing, testing, and troubleshooting defects found in the test
and production environments. • Providing guidance in the
development of test scenarios and internal software training
documents. • Evaluating existing manual test cases and identify
opportunities for automation. • Creating manual and automated test
plans, cases, and scripts. • Developing and documenting internal
training as it relates to business analysis and testing. • Serving
as a point of contact to manage multiple stakeholder teams and
vendors assigned to the project to ensure team actions remain in
synergy. • Communicating with executives or the board to keep the
project aligned with their goals. • Performing quality control on
the project throughout development to maintain the standards
expected. • Developing and documenting internal training as it
relates to PMO services. • Leveraging agency software to assist in
the management of project’s SDLC. Mandatory Requirements: Business
Analyst - Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or
hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems,
assessing the business model or its integration with technology
with distinct deliverables to a solution. Expert - 84 months:
Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has
extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of
his/her field. Requested Requirements: - 84 months of business
analysis experience in Information Technology supporting complex
software systems or applications. - 84 months of experience
analyzing complex business processes. - 36 months experience
soliciting business needs from project requesters to build business
cases - 84 months of experience creating test plans, and logging,
analyzing, testing, and troubleshooting defects found in test and
production environments. - 30 months of experience using ServiceNow
to triage and respond to application support tickets from users -
84 months of experience providing written communications to
business owners, IT program team members, and management. months of
experience in reviewing and evaluating technical specifications for
compliance with business objectives and requirements. - 18 months
of experience as acting Project Manager on IT projects. -
