manufacturing of quality precast/prestressed concrete products. Our
projects include parking structures, building exteriors, bridges,
sports stadiums and retaining walls throughout Metro New York/New
Jersey, Upstate New York, and New England. Dailey Precast is
utilizing the very latest technologies. Dailey Precast Capabilities
and Projects Video Position Description Job Summary: The Inventory
Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing material inventory
levels and supporting the objectives of our purchasing and material
handling departments. This position ensures incoming deliveries are
received and accounted for properly, stored material inventory
counts are conducted at regularly scheduled intervals, and
purchasing requests are completed thoroughly before submitting them
to the purchasing department. Success in this role requires strong
organizational skills as well as being an effective communicator
and engaged team member. The right candidate will possess strong
time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing
priorities as they will need to balance interactions with outside
vendors and delivery personnel as they show up while supporting the
needs of numerous members of the Dailey Precast team throughout the
day. Essential Functions: 1. Obligated. Conduct receiving
responsibilities as shipments arrive including collecting packing
slips, unloading materials using a forklift, conducting incoming
material inspections, and coordinating material storage locations.
2. Measurement. Accurately count material inventory levels at
regular intervals and document and/or submit to the purchasing
department. Compile inventory needs from other support departments
to submit to the purchasing department. 3. Communication. Work with
employees / managers to find non-inventoried materials or tools
they are seeking from available suppliers and assist them with
completing a Purchasing Request Form to submit to the purchasing
department. 4. Ownership and Caring. Oversee and distribute shared
tools, track who has them out and ensure return. 5. Results Matter.
Assist with preparing/loading materials to be sent to the job site
by helping to determine orders that need to be fulfilled and the
loading of Conex boxes. 6. Protect family and friends. Promote and
enforce all safety standards and OSHA regulations applicable to
precast operations and heavy equipment usage. Position Requirements
Requirements, Education and Experience: 1. Prior experience in
material handling, inventory control, and/or purchasing/receiving
required. 2. Familiarity with precast operations preferred 3.
Strong communication and organizational skills 4. Technical ability
to perform various functions on a computer including email, word
processing, spreadsheet data entry, etc… 5. High school diploma or
GED required; additional technical, inventory control, and/or
material handling training preferred 6. Valid driver’s license and
ability to operate a forklift (certification a plus) 7. Must be
authorized to work in the U.S. Other Duties: Please note this job

Position may require up to 5% travel by personal vehicle throughout
the state of New York, and New England based on the needs of the
business. Work Environment/Physical Demands: This position operates
in a variety of environments, including office settings, yard
areas, and fieldwork. The role involves regular exposure to weather
conditions, noise, and heavy equipment. Heavy work that includes
lifting objects up to 50 lb. or more. While some responsibilities
are sedentary and take place at a desk using standard office
equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers, the position
also requires frequent walking, bending, standing, and movement
throughout different work areas. Occasional early morning, evening,
or weekend hours may be necessary based on delivery schedules or
