Job Info Job Location: Armonk, New York Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Temp to Hire Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 0 (includes CDL students) Handling: Light Touch Additional Information CDL B Driver - Local - $28 Per Hour - Residential PODS Deliveries Location: Armonk, NY About the Position We are currently seeking CDL B drivers in Armonk, NY. This position offers a pay rate of $28 per hour along with a $2,000 sign-on bonus, paid out in three installments. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 months of experience and a valid medical card with at least 60 days remaining. The job involves picking up and delivering moving/storage containers to customer locations (primarily residences). Must block/level truck prior to unloading. Pay & Schedule Pay Rate: $28 per hour Sign-on Bonus: $2,000 (paid in 3 installments) Schedule: Monday through Friday, Every Other Saturday (minimum) Start Time: 7:30 AM Average Work Hours: 10-12 hours per day Job Details Route Type: Local Freight: Containers Equipment: Automatic Trucks Handling: Unload with a liftgate; must block/level truck prior to unloading Deliveries to NYC/Boroughs area Key Responsibilities Deliver and pick up containers to customer locations, primarily residences Ensure safe and efficient unloading of containers Maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations Minimum Requirements 3 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Valid CDL B license Medical card with at least 60 days left Benefits Competitive weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Referral Program Why Work With TransForce TransForce drivers are respected professionals.
