Job Description Job Description Job Title: Production Line Operator Job Description We are seeking a meticulous and safety-conscious Production Line Operator to join our team. This role involves executing production activities necessary for the manufacturing of conductive materials such as metal-plated fibers or coated non-woven materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or chemical handling and a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities Conduct large and small volume chemical transfers. Prepare chemical solutions and inspect raw materials. Test in-process and finished materials. Record data accurately and label and package finished goods. Clean and maintain process and test equipment. Handle hazardous materials, including spill clean-up, following established safety procedures. Maintain a clean and orderly work area to ensure safety and productivity. Participate in environmental health and safety programs. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize operational efficiency. Assist in training operators according to facility practices. Essential Skills At least 6 months to a year of experience in manufacturing or chemical handling. Attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset. Ability to use a respirator and work independently. Strong communication skills. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications US citizenship. High school diploma or GED. Enthusiasm and initiative to develop and maintain manufacturing processes. Compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, DEC). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schenectady, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
