- Deploy software development solutions. Integrate systems into
larger platform design.
- Work on making managing software development processes, cost
reduction, and system analysis standard across the platform.
- Build and maintain tools for Code and Cloud best practices and
compliance.
- Document best practices for software development "hygiene" that
reduces costs and complexities as part of the software development
lifecycle.
- Work with development teams to migrate existing software
development build processes to adopt newly designed best
practices.
- Develop software tools and solutions that can be used by
multiple teams across the organization.
- Work to build visual dashboards that define the metrics for
uptime of systems that provide software to the production
environments.
- Implement code scanning tools to inspect and block malicious
code from being deployed into any of the software development
environments by using the existing code scanning tools and
integrating them into the development lifecycle.Up to two days per
week telecommuting may be permitted.You are required to have
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science,
Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in the position or a related
occupation.
- Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in the
following:
- Supporting Development teams with processes related to building
and releasing software.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC) and the
details of how software flows through the process.
- Converting static build tasks to templated reusable blocks of
code.
- Adapting and migrating statically built software solutions into
reproducible automated deployable systems.
- Identifying similarities in Software systems and proposing
simplified solutions designed to unify ways of working across the
engineering org.
- Working with senior technical leaders to implement
infrastructure re-designs on existing systems to migrate to more
scalable system architecture.The annual salary for this position
for Massachusetts only is between $225,000 - $229,500.Compensation
packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including
but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific
geographical location.This role is eligible for health insurance,
